NGC 5907 in Draco

Seeing P6
Yet another fine edge on galaxy lies about 40 million ly away in the constellation Draco.  It is 12.3 X 1.8 arc minutes in size and mag 10.4.  It appears very thin and after several subsequent observations I think I exaggerated the length of the dark lane, however it is prominent at this aperature.  the foreground starfield adds to the view of this fine object. The sketch was done under the mag 7+ skies of Desert Center, CA.  After the scan of the drawing Photoshop was used to add Gaussian blur and the paintbrush feature was used to round out my funny looking stars.
